All recorded video is considered to be data and therefore must be kept secure. All our digital recorders will automatically record over old cctv video footage and therefore comply with data protection guidelines. All our systems can be password protected restricting access to video recordings. We can provide warning signs designed to comply with The Data Protection Act.

All companies which hold data should register with the Information Commissioner's Office. This is not specific to CCTV as CCTV is just considered as another type of data. We can adivise on the latest requirements so please call us.
